Flare Gun: buy and use it one at time

Buy only 1 flare gun (gadget from the Tool Shop) at each time and make sure NOT to use more than one at a time. If you try to leave a couple on your camp for visitors, as you use the second one (in a different spot than the first), the first one vanished without giving you the 75 supplies.

    Why pay 2500 coins for a flare gun that gives 75 supplies when you can pay 1200 coins for 1000 supplies using a boat? The flare gun is the biggest ripoff in the whole game.

    If you are a high level, you will need all the supplies you can get. At this moment, you better go around neighbors collecting from the supply drop. In October, supply drop was not there. So, for a high level it is not a question of coins, because you have so many coins that you don't know what to do with them. Buying this gadget is a way of spending coins. Downside is you spend 1 Energy.
