Releasing today:
- The Egyptian Obelisk to Get Egyptian Keys
(Available at Level 7 or above!)
The new Egypt maps – the Riddle of the Sphinx introduced some new features and functionality as well as new Tools, Beasties and puzzles to solve.
Now Zynga is introducing the Egyptian Obelisk, as a new Building for your Base Camp that will give you Egyptian Keys.
Phases for this building:
- Place
- Upgrade to level 4 (Requires glyphs and other building parts) to harvest each 24 hours all keys:
- Level 1: Farmer Key
- Level 2: Farmer and Scribe Keys
- Level 3: Farmer, Scribe and Priest Keys
- Level 4: Farmer, Scribe, Priest, Pharaoh Key (all keys)

- Level 2: Eye, Ankh, and Bird Glyphs
- Level 3: The Ankh, Bird, and Water Glyphs
- Level 4: Bird, Hand and Water Glyphs
How to get Glyphs (these are the same as those needed for upgrade the tools):
- Egypt maps
- Asking your friends for untranslated Glyphs
- Purchase them with Adventure Cash
- Now you have also a chance to receive a Glyph each time you tend an Obelisk on your neighbor’s Base Camp
Why do you want Egyptian Keys?
Even if you got the Key that opens all Treasure Caves, if you didn't notice that key don't work on Egyptian Maps.
Note: the Pharaoh Key will be a requirement for a future Egyptian map, so make sure that you begin to upgrade your Obelisk today!
After completing each upgrade you share with your neighbors extra parts from the Obelisk. Your neighbors can also receive rewards if they tend your Obelisk on a daily basis.
